Instruction

Opening
To start the class I will ask who thinks they had the best looking grandkids. I will then ask if anyone is nervous about what they’re children will look like. I will conclude with telling them that we did not deal with boys or girls, just traits. Imagine if you had to talk about if a trait was sex-linked! (15 minutes)

Learning Activities
I will begin class by giving a power point on codominance, incomplete dominance, sex-linked traits, and pedigrees. (30-45 minutes)
Students will then be given a worksheet which will be completed as a class with the teacher picking on people randomly to answer questions. (maybe use popsicle sticks) (20 minutes)

Closing
I will wrap up by reminding the students to study for the quiz next class and that the test is coming up fast!

Assessment
I will assess the students knowledge by going over the worksheet aloud in class.

Homework
Study for quiz.
